Wednesday, February 5 Morning Prayer: 7:30 am, Mass: 8:00 am

We join the Congregation of the Blessed Sacrament, Sister Servants, and Associates of the Blessed Sacrament in remembering and offering prayers on the baptism of their founder. Baptized the day after his birthday, he often expressed his preference for celebrating his baptism day, saying that "it was the most beautiful day of his life, as it was the day when he had the good fortune to be baptized."

CCW

The Council of Catholic Women's meeting is Tuesday, February 4, in Prefontaine Hall. Refreshments are served at 9:00 am with the meeting to follow from 9:30-10:30 am. All women of the parish are invited.

Recently, there has been an increase in reports of fraudulent email solicitations for financial support, usually in the form of gift cards. These requests are coming from email accounts or text messages identifying as priests. No priest or anyone else from Corpus Christi will EVER request gift cards from you via email or text.

Please do not purchase any gift cards and notify the church office immediately if you receive any unfamiliar donation requests.

That we may understand that Jesus understands our pain and only He can fill the hole in our heart.

When we join a support group, there is comfort is sharing our pain with people who have experienced the same thing; they understand what we are going through. The next time you experience suffering, talk to Jesus. He has experienced more suffering than most of us, He understands. Plus, Jesus knows us better than we know ourselves. Only He can fill the hole you feel in your heart.

La presentación del Señor: 2 de Febrero

Que podamos comprender que Dios entiende nuestro dolor y que solamente Él puede llenar el vacío de nuestros corazones.

“Y ya que él mismo sufrió la tentación, puede ahora ayudar a los que son tentados.” - Hebreos 2:18

Cuando nos unimos a un grupo de apoyo, nos consuela compartir nuestro dolor con las personas experimentan la misma situación porque entienden por lo que estamos pasando. La próxima vez que experimente el sufrimiento, hable con Jesús. Él ha experimentado más sufrimiento que la mayoría de nosotros. Él nos comprende. Además, Jesús nos conoce mejor de lo que nos conocemos nosotros mismos. Solo Él puede llenar el vacío que sientes en tu corazón.
